A pair of Swedish scientists have published (briefly) a paper thoroughly discrediting the efficacy of "lie detectors", calling them "pseudo-science"! What was the Israeli company's response? Threaten the publisher and them with legal action -- not prove themselves scientifically.
It would seem that the next time you're arrested, and they offer to hook you up to a lie detector, you should ask them if they want to invite your witch doctor along for the fun ;-)
