You Oughta Know: The Race For Hope

The Race for Hope 5K Run/Walk 2011 edition will be held at 7AM on September 25, 2011 -- starting at the Hope Botanical Gardens (Old Hope Road, Kingston, Jamaica). It will be the 4th staging of this event, the goal of which is to raise funds for the renovation of the Hope Zoo. For a minor contribution of JMD $1,000 (or JMD $500 for students with an ID) you can take part in the race – and you probably should as it's great exercise, plus you'll feel a real sense of accomplishment when you cross that finish line! Especially if you beat your friends... ;-) So click here for the online registration (plus a lot more information), and then start training for the big event! - QBF PS: For more running events in Jamaica, check out the aptly named Running Events Ltd .
